Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.

Curious what IOS looks like

Depends if you’re asking people who are informed or news headlines. The informed people have been saying the AI bubble is set to burst around Q2-Q3 2027. That’s when loan obligations come due and the majority of investors are set for payouts.
The news will say it’s happening everyday, just like Trump is just about to die everyday, or MAGA is “turning against him” everyday according to the articles.

They should care because if they don’t respond, everybody else stops caring and their PR stunt has little payoff.

I think a mathematician with no skin in the game should just make a big post saying “All 700 are wrong, no I am not going to show my work, if you disagree prove which one you think is right” put the ball back in OpenAI’s court.

Someone should just say they are all wrong. Then tell OpenAI to prove which one is right.

Or just make them care by making a bunch of gross videos about Zuckerberg and the entire Meta board members.

“What? I am going to have to work to build social capital, ridiculous. How do I buy it?”

Downvote is probably because the source is OpenAI so this is just an ad.

You have to or it will show you its little butthole.

Yeah but the job market will be hot for any Gen Alpha that even has half a working brain.

Better be paying those security forces top notch pay.

Kinda unrelated. But what happens when OpenAI or Anthropic’s loans come due and they have no legal way to turn a profit, but are sitting on a treasure trove of corporate secrets?

Some of the internal emails are interesting. Brutal for poor Dave.
But, if you want nothing revolutionary and want to band-aid (which is fine and understandable) then I agree with your plan to give it to Dave.

The reason is labor is cheaper. The people who put up signage in shops get paid close to minimum wage and get restricted hours under 35 so corporate doesn’t have to pay for benefits like healthcare. So the only incentive for changing to electonic tags is being able to charge customers more.

In my state the customer would be able to reference the last visible sales tag or printed circular if no posted prices. So some granny could have an ad from whenever this all started and basically have grandfathered in grocery prices until the manager finally decides he is losing enough money and starts putting signage up again.
Yeah, the problem isn’t automation, it’s billionaires pocketing all of the proceeds.
