By the time SC releases in a finished state, its setting will look like fantasy ancient history to the people who might play it.

Star Citizen is the fusion power of games. It is always 20 years away.

Absolutely, it’s 100% playable, has been for years.
I tried it recently and while some aspects are great, it’s definitely not ready for prime time. Most of the UI is confusing and cumbersome, and it’s just riddled with bugs. I think I may have tried it just after a major content patch, where previously there had been a long period of stability. But still, it was a bit of a mess.
You can see the fun just starting to poke it’s head out, but it’s hard to find at the moment, you have to squint.

They are currently doing patch after patch for issue and it definitely shows… Bugs are less and less.
Gameplay wise… yes… promising but lots of stuff missing

2 daysThe most important question wasn’t answered: Will they accept any more money for a product that will never leave production?

Of course they will! For as long as people keep paying them for it.

2 daysAre they doing a rip-off of the styling of the newer Mad Max series? I am personally waiting for waiting for a more focused rip-off of the newer Dune movies (I know they have a fake sandworm, but I am looking for more low quality copying).
