A piece of fish upon your dish, with beans to fulfill your every wish.

INGREDIENTS

Fish

• Rainbow trout
• Soya sauce
• Maple syrup
• Ginger, finely chopped
• Garlic, finely chopped

Rice & Beans

• Rice, whatever kind you like (I used basmati)
• Olive oil
• Black beans, canned
• Shiitake mushrooms, chopped
• Oyster mushrooms, chopped
• Red chili peppers, sliced into rings (keep the seeds in, you coward!)
• Yellow onion or shallots, chopped
• Ginger, finely chopped
• Garlic, finely chopped
• Soya sauce
• Miso paste, few spoonfuls
• Gochujang, few spoonfuls

Garnish

• Green onion, chopped
• Sesame seeds

COOKING

Fish

1. Pre-heat your oven to 200°C (~400°F)
2. Get a large deep-rimmed baking sheet/tray/vessel
3. Place your trout pieces into the vessel
4. In a bowl, pour your maple syrup and soya sauce, and add the ginger and garlic. Stir together. It should be enough to about three-quarter submerge the fish pieces. Taste test the ratios to your liking
5. Pour the maple-soya mixture over your fish
6. Cook for about 30 minutes or until fish flakes easily when forked

Rice & Beans

1. Put X units of volume of rice into a pot with 2X units of volume of water. Crank stove to high until water boils, then bring it to low and cook for 20 minutes
2. Get a frying pan (cast iron is the best, fite me irl 1v1 on twitter) on medium-high heat, get it oiled
3. Add your chopped mushrooms, cook them ~4 minutes, stirring periodically
4. Add your chili peppers and yellow onions/shallots (maybe even some of the white bits from your green onions), cook them until onions become translucent, stirring periodically
5. Add garlic and ginger, stir them in
6. Add black beans with the canning liquid
7. Add miso paste, gochujang, and soya sauce
8. Cook until liquids have reduced into a thick sauce

Plating

1. Put a few spoonfuls of rice onto your plate, even it out into a flat pile occupying no more than half the surface of the place
2. Put your beans atop the rice
3. Next to the rice & beans, put a piece of fish
4. Garnish with green onion bits and sesame seeds to your liking

It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to the inaugural Funhole Union of Content Creators Annual General Meeting! The AGM is an opportunity for all members to make speeches to our content community, and to adopt content resolutions. If you are a content creator or a content engager, you are a member of FUCC!

Before we get started, I shall table the plan for this AGM:

PHASE 0 (this one): AGM plan proposal

In which the speaker (me, @[email protected]) proposes the AGM phases and summons the union membership to vote by commenting “YEA” should they accept the plan, “NAY” should they reject. The voting period shall last 48 hours from time of posting (with rounding up to a whole hour). The speaker shall “ACK” valid votes cast prior to the deadline.

PHASE 1: Speeches

Members are invited to make speeches to the content community. Speeches should be made within 48 hours of the phase opening to be included in the minutes. Speeches may be made after this time but may not be recorded.

Speeches can be about whatever you like. Let your fellow members know you intend to table motions, your thoughts on the state of the union, what you had for breakfast, etc.

PHASE 2: Tabling of motions and voting

Members are invited to table motions and vote on other motions tabled. You may table as many motions as you wish, and you may vote on as many motions as you wish.

To table a motion, leave a top-level comment on the future phase 2 post following this template:

I <your name> hereby move that <motion content>

To vote on a motion, leave a reply saying “YEA” or “NAY”. Speaker shall “ACK” valid votes.

The tabling & voting period shall end 72 hours after time of opening.

PHASE 3: Points of order

Members are invited to stand on points of order should they believe something went wrong during phase 2. The speaker shall propose a resolution that members can vote on. This phase shall end 48 hours after time of opening.

PHASE 4: Nomination of speaker candidates for AGM 2027

Members are invited to nominate candidates for next year’s AGM speaker, who shall be responsible for running the AGM. You may nominate yourself or someone else. If nominating someone else, they must accept the nomination to be included in the vote. This phase shall end 48 hours after time of opening.

PHASE 5: Election of speaker for AGM 2027

The list of candidates shall be provided. Members are invited to vote by leaving a top-level comment ranking their preferences. The winner shall be determined by the Schulze Condorcet method. This phase shall end 48 hours after time of opening.

PHASE 6: Closing & recording of minutes

Speaker to close the AGM and record the minutes onto the Funhole wiki.
