It’s not just the Windows OS that uses more RAM than others. Every bloody App these days left memory optimisation in the dust a long time ago.

The base OS itself is only a fraction of the issue

The timing could not be better. Fuck Sony

Death Stranding 1 & 2

Derail Valley

Train Sim World

No Mans Sky

I might be getting old, but games that live in that happy place between chill and adventure really speak to me these days.

Edit: My line breaks disappeared. Did this suddenly become Reddit?

Yeah unfortunately when Bending Spoons buy out companies, development typically slows or even stalls and the subscription costs go astronomical. They’ve done the same with Komoot, Evernote and a bunch of others.

Even their website summarises how shit they are once you wrap quotes around the right word:

We acquire and “improve” iconic products. Supported by dozens of proprietary technologies and an elite team of engineers, scientists, and designers

I know it’s satire, but this is more or less the same shit corpos use to bail themselves out.
