If I have to deal with digital media I prefer to do it on one where hardware configurations are open and operating system isn’t locked.
Digital media on a locked hardware platform that doesn’t let you load your OS of choice or even programs makes for a more restrictive digital media experience.
Still would be nice to have an option straight from Firefox available.
I don’t have a problem with Origin, since Firefox stripped of telemetry, ai, and sponsorships is something I’d be happy to pay a one time fee for even if I can disable it.
Having everything stripped from the installer by default from the official source is nice, and lot of projects don’t get funding from most users. So offering something like this seems fine with me.

Yeah, I keep getting storage to get redundant back ups. My last big storage purchase was getting some before the US president took office because of the tarrif threats. But, I’ll eventually need to get more.
