The City of Portland and Multnomah County seem to be struggling to keep up with Dundon’s tactics, communications and pressure. Why would they be?
They’re dealing with someone who started their illustrious careers as a used car salesman focused on sub-prime (high interest, high-risk) loans who settled lawsuits in multiple states, multiple times for illegal business practices.
Billionaires don’t come to their wealth without abusing others. COP & Multnomah County need to get some adults who are capable of putting their foot down and not giving away half a billion dollars to a grifter billionaire.
We need affordable housing. We need sustainable energy and investment in public transit. We need equitable economics–not billionaire giveaways.
You have to do 2 shots of crude oil to enter a lottery for a ticket to be able to pay for a ticket so you can checkout for groceries.
