3 daysYeah, their earning report was really something. Raising prices due to “shortages” while reporting a record margin on their products.
(and let’s be honest here: The recent price increases do kind of kill the product line. Most people are better off with a cheap, maybe used thinclient for their homeserver needs. They are not those cheap thingies you can tinker around with anymore)

6 daysIt’s optimized for pictures and videos and ads. The old layout works better for text and links and it shows. Old Reddit was perfect for quickly checking a niche subreddit - just skim the 20 or 30 headlines, open interesting links in a new tab or check some comments and you are informed about what is currently happening in that niche. Maybe you also read some text posts with questions. New Reddit is optimized to keep you scrolling and to put an endless stream of ragebait in your face.









I think that such projects are the best use for such models. If the code is doing something wrong or has errors, the worst scenario is that you are not getting notified when your bins were emptied. That’s … ok?
