This is 100% because young people have started referring to anything fake or stupid as “AI”. The term AI is becoming a punchline.

Sorry, this is a huge missed opportunity. Call it American Intelligence. Americans will love it, everyone else will avoid it. Win win.

Taking steps is already something. Take back those minutes when you can!

Maybe some of y’all shower too long.

The only way to get better is to stop consuming content! Choose a weekend, tell your friends you will be out of touch, and turn off your phone for a couple of days (if you can’t do that, just shut off WIFI and data so you can still text/call). It really won’t be as bad as you think, and you might even like it - but you will have to do stuff to occupy your hands. Cook, walk, read easy books, exercise, etc.

Americans have more exposure to AI. The rest of the world will come around.

An elegant solution. I wonder if it is more efficient than a 1TW data centre.
Seriously, though, we use AI in the worst way possible. I like writing code, I hate checking someone else’s code. Why aren’t AIs doing the checking and engineers doing the coding?
Forget “human in the loop” - let’s shoot for “reviewed by AI”. Deep down, we know the humans are barely paying attention when they check Claude’s homework.

If only that could be automated somehow.

Please please please rename it American Intelligence. Something to finally pop this bubble.
You know a name is catchy when the president orders you to use it.
