It would be so easy for me to laugh this off and say, “duh just don’t go to the third world country that is the USA,” but anything they do will spread to other parts of the world.
Maybe wipe an old phone and just have signal to communicate with family until I cross the border? I wouldn’t even mind paying a few bucks to make a new signal account without a phone number.
Yeah, if you don’t depend on it for your livelihood, I don’t see why anyone should go through all these hoops just to install Adobe’s malware. All those apps you mentioned earlier, I find, are perfectly fine for hobbyists.
