10 daysBut then I’d have to open the URL in the browser which needs a minute to load, and then I have to click away several cookie banners or wait for an extension to do it for me. Opening a YouTube URL always feels like I’m installing an app.

11 daysI also noticed the youtube rss feeds are returning 404s now as well.
They are still working for me. Example: https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UC5rT7F0PGNuD54rJ9kzgWzw
EDIT: This is the command I use to convert YouTube channel URLs into RSS URLs:
curl --silent "https://www.youtube.com/@thecodyreeder" \ | grep -Po '"rssUrl"\s*:\s*"[^"]+"' \ | cut -d : -f 2- | tr -d \"

Yeah, but they aren’t Microsoft and have competition, so they might care if they lose your business. Unless you’re a big company or state actor, Microsoft probably wants your data more than what little money you have. Especially if they don’t get any money from you because you’re on some kind of charity plan.
A small local company is also more likely to help you with an individual backup solution if something off the shelve doesn’t fit you.
Not all clouds are equal.
