
Tech addiction is tough. When people don’t like their environment they try to escape it and unfortunately the black mirror is there waiting for them. It’s not productive but it provides comfort.

Tech addiction is tough. When people don’t like their environment they try to escape it and unfortunately the black mirror is there waiting for them. It’s not productive but it provides comfort.

It just seems dumb to put this much effort into standing against this when there’s so much more and bigger to stand against.
Why is this a trade off, in your eyes? Why can’t people do both, and why does not watching something count as effort when there’s more media out there right now than we could watch in our lifetimes?

RPGs got worse for me as soon as they shifted to adding VAs for every line. FFX (1&2) were the last Final Fantasy games I played all the way through. (FFX-2: would not play again even though the combat system was better). I’m fine with voice acting, but I liked when I could read dialogue and advance it accordingly.
What is the alternative to AD, and are there currently companies running that, big or small?
