The stable matching problem has also been called the stable marriage problem, using a metaphor of marriage between men and women, and many sources describe the Gale–Shapley algorithm in terms of marriage proposals. However, this metaphor has been criticized as both sexist and unrealistic: the steps of the algorithm do not accurately reflect typical or even stereotypical human behavior.

I would look at the tools that the preservation groups use for doing this. The optical media layouts are funky and IIRC using dd on the block device is not enough to archive a bit-for-bit copy. There are details about the track layout and so on that need to be recorded separately. This is why formats like BIN/CUE exist.

The phone has been out for 10 days and this article is from 6 days before it was released.
Why are we looking at an “early benchmark” from before release instead of an actual real benchmark of the device. I don’t get why Geekbench doesn’t have results for iPhone 18, or why this “early benchmark” calls it “iPhone19,2.”

As the name suggests, this runs a scheduled Secure Boot update whenever you are online or connected to the internet. That is why many affected users initially thought the issue was related to the internet as they noticed the bug won’t show up when they were offline.

What exactly is the problem that you’re trying to solve?
