Just buy a prepaid sim in the Netherlands, Czechia, UK or Finland. Neither of them have any registration requirements and most prepaid cards from those countries have EU roaming included, even in the UK.

It does not bombard you with ads and the tracking is not as bad as Google and Amazon.

5 monthsWhat drove me (and my family) from KeePass to Bitwarden was the family sharing and survivor access.
Until KeePass supports these it’s not really up to par with Bitwarden.
Especially digital legacy management is a must have for a well rounded password manager.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Does anyone use a VPN to subvert the Netflix household device fencing?bycomrade_twisty@feddit.orgEnglish
1 yearI do live at 3 locations in 2 countries for work reasons and have a wireguard VPN server at my primary home that acts as a gateway for all my traffic, not only because of streaming but also because my bank locked me out for suspicious behavior before. The routers at locations 2 and 3 are sending all their traffic to my primary home.
No issues with this setup, I can only recommend it. I also have a centralized NAS this way and all my home assistant instances are interconnected.

I have signal-cli set up on my home assistant and use that for notifications from home.assistant as well as uptime kuma, etc.
