  • So the music industry doesn’t want you to download private copies of songs (which btw is perfectly legal) but has zero problem with charging for e.g. “Happy birthday” - 118 years after it’s creation, whilst the orginal author distributed it freely and didn’t ever get a single penny.

    How do we fix this problem? It’s simple: We kill copyright (or shorten it to a few years) so that these parasitic freeloaders lose their base of support.

  • I think HN is one of the most rigged websites I encountered.

    Some posts there look clearly botted regarding the score.

    Not a single soul can tell me that it’s normal that the 345th “new AI model”-post get’s 1k upvotes within like 3 hours while articles like “I can steal Mastercard transactions” barely have 800 after an entire day.
