For the cost of running a washing machine.

I’m always amused by the number of gas car drivers commenting on EV discussions.

Gas stations can also raise the price of gas. You are realizing that both are the same. The differentiator is the possibility of charging at home without ever going to a dedicated station.

Is this because he thinks Superman (a Canadian creation btw), the most famous “super” anything, is still pop culture?

For people who eat from McDs, this must be annoying.

It goes all the way to people like Putin and MBS, who don’t use wallets.

LOL! I got a downvote for such an obvious comment! I wonder who it’s from! 🤣

I expect they will keep trying to hold back EVs and compete forever, so never let your guard down. There will always be someone, somewhere, wanting to pump oil and feed it to a combustion engine for money. They’ll say it’s their culture, for Jesus, for their family, to feed baby koalas, to revive a poor dead rat, or whatever it takes to burn some form of petroleum, change climate, and try to buy a yacht or an island.

People on a budget do not buy new cars. Yet EV critics sure are careful not to ever mention second hand EVs. Is that ignorance or strategic ICE promotion?

Fill in the blank:
ICEs are available new. ICEs are available second hand. EVs are available new. EVs are available _____________.

Like a computer, socks or a can of fish, be the only one to use the car and you’ll never have to worry about depreciation and resale value. Trying to use it as an investment is for your own optional amusement.

“Oh no, a robot with 5 legs instead of 4 or 6, time to pray the lord.”

Depreciation is irrelevant and only brought up by combustion promoters. A car is a tool, not an investment in itself. The only relevant metric is overall yearly cost until the car dies.
Changing cars every few years, which is where depreciation matters, is an expensive luxury no one actually has to play.

Are those directing ICE are also involved in human trafficking?

Is this part of their tourism strategy?

It’s like they’re trying to crush a bar of soap that just keeps slipping away.
Sounds like they’re just trying to create enemies to unleash against for no good reason.
