People just submitted it.

iot would be the far better choice over using one of the debloaters or minimized installers.

the smaller older stores in tx don’t have any, but the newer ginormous ones already do have a dozen or more superchargers or other charging ports.

would probably take like 2 to 3 days to write zeros across the entire disk. but hardware or software based full disk encryption can make ‘erasing’ a disk (make the data irretrievable) very fast.

laptop simply no longer detects the display
it could be a loose connection or broken wires between the main board and the display panel. it might be worth the effort to open it up and examine those.
either one is nothing but 1s and 0s without the hardware and operating systems they run on.

lord dipshit no-doubt has something to do with this.

i still go there maybe once a month, but i always have a buy 1-get 1 coupon. that at least gets the price down close to ~ 2019’s.

nix is on a whole different level than silverblue and other ‘atomic’ distributions.

It was though. You are living in a bubble. For five years all I ever heard was “You gotta switch to Ubuntu! Windows is awful!” Except this is when I was still using Windows XP, so from my perspective Windows wasn’t awful. It was just out of date. From 2006-2011, that’s all I ever heard was Ubuntu Ubuntu Ubuntu.
ubuntu’s early popularity had nothing to do with it being ‘lightweight’ (because it really wasn’t)… but rather simply because it was ‘new’ and ‘easier’, and everybody was jumping on that bandwagon. that’s it.
xubuntu came around with dapper (june '06) and quickly became a popular recommendation for older or low-spec hardware. ubuntu itself was never that choice. ever.
I’d say around 3-4 years ago it started shifting towards Mint.
linuxmint has been going strong longer than ‘3-4 years’. a lot longer.
my PC hasn’t been updated, or changed in any way since 2023.
I don’t even update firefox. I’m running 133.0.3. I think firefox is somewhere near version 200.
it is your choice to ignore updates. you know your software is out-of-date and vulnerable.
next year: “In order to lower our costs and keep your monthly rate low, the five locations near you are being consolidated into a single location in Farawayville.”
another year later: “In order to lower our costs and keep your monthly rate low, our physical locations are being migrated to an online presence accessible through the HahaTrickedYou app, now available in your app store.”
seven months after that: the app doesn’t work. web site disappears. company goes under.

image the reaction if a $400us collector bundle was the only way to get a physical disc.

well, you can, but there are restrictions. ones that ‘smart glasses’ and their users are not following.

soon as someone whispers ‘did you know black people hate data centers?’, they’ll be 'zomg gimme a data center! no, wait!! TWO data centers!!!"
won’t they be supplying their own market first? they’re doing the data center ai bullshit too.
