Are you sure? I’m not so, Myanmar and Congo are scary and dangerous for their citizens, USA is scary and dangerous for their citizens AND the rest of the World.

That is the point. I tested almost all existing browsers since a quarter century now and the mencioned are the best for me and my needs. Simple philosophy, search, compare and finding something better, use it, more if it is an EU product.
I’m happy with Vivaldi since over 10 Years and Zen as second, both European Browsers (Norway and Spain) which don’t sell my data and my soul. Ethics respect the user and transparency are very important for me and Brave don’t offer it, but shady business models. Thanks
Yes, private use is always legal, copyright is this, that in copyrighted content you need an permission and you have to pay if you want publicate it, like for the Eiffel Tower, there you need the permission of the company and you have to pay money for it. Same for the Eiffel Tower by Night or an downloaded Video. The exception are only contents without copyright (eg. CC, GPL licenses) like images, animations, music and videos from eg. Pixabay, which are all free to download and use even for commercial uses.
This copyright laws are also the cause that a lot of cinemas have closed, because they had to pay thousends of € for the right to project a movie in public. In times of VHS tapes, I had a friend which had a franchise of an Blockbuster shop, he had to pay several 100 bucks for every tape, to have the right to rent it to the people.
Copyright is big business, but for the industry and big companies, less for the authors, which mostly only receive some % of the money. Reason because artists prefer to use eg. Bandcamp, where they can sell directly their work, or to do it in their concerts, selling USB and CD, showing this way the middlefinger to these companies.
Media content with more than 70 years is mostly public domain and free to use, with some exceptions, like Chaplin movies which still have copyright by the Chaplin family.
Even a cámara, you are violate the copyright when you make a photo from the iluminated Eiffel Tower by night or some historic buildings and use it in a publication. Cpyright yes, but in the way it make sense.
No, copyright make sense and is important, but it need a redefinition to protect the right of the author and not the abuses of an greedy industry. Most of the real piracy and violations of the copyright nowadays is made by the generative AIs of this industry and big corps, not by the users.
First of all, downloading a song for private use isn’t piracy, before internet people recorded songs from the radio with an magnetophone or cassettes, nothing new. It’s piracy if you use the downloaded song commercial, selling copies or reproduce it in public. An tool to download media has nothing to do with piracy same as any other device to record and store songs are not. Even the VLC player or others, capable to record songs would be with this a piracy tool. These are things that happen when the industry prescribe old stupid politicians, who confuse a remote control with a smartphone, what laws should they make in their favor.

8 daysPortmaster (OpenSource, Windows, Linux), maybe the best per app Firewall, DNScrypt, traffic monitor/blocking, privacy filters, Optional (paid OpenSource) an SPN service (Multi-channel VPN), easy and intuitive settings. the Big Tech blocking is strong, with it their services are inaccessible for you and you for the service.

It isn’t an argument, because there are almost 50 chat alternatives out there, it’s like saying you have to use VW or BMW. To communicate with unknown people there are forums or an fediverse instance like Lemmy or Mastodon, If you want to communicate with your friends or family any of the above proposed chats is enough, or use your phone for what it is, to make a call (yes, this finction still works in smartphones without any app).
