The response isn’t terrible, but the fact that it happened in the first place is ridiculous. They don’t state anything about fixing the issue on their end so it doesn’t happen again. They also don’t apologize either or admit that they fucked up, they frame it almost as if they are doing them a favour and should be grateful.

My best guess would be that they build a profile on you attached to the app and the code you use to get “points”. Then use AI to analyze at what price you stop buying certain things at.
Not sure how this would work when physically at the store and menu prices are listed on the board.
That’s what happens when people just carry guns out in public all willy nilly. One probably was firing in self defense but both were probably untrained or careless and not caring where the bullets were going in the moment.
