2 daysYeah and sometimes when people see downvoted comments they tend to jump on the bandwagon. I’ve had multiple
moments on Lemmy before
Technology@lemmy.world•Trump consulted Musk’s chatbot Grok before abducting Venezuela’s president: reportbyPhotonic@lemmy.worldEnglish
2 daysI meant just the “military action” of abducting him from his home country. That undeniably worked

2 daysNo, but that was not his goal, now was it?
Edit: to clarify, my statement was a reaction to the entire comment, not just the last few words. I meant that his goal wasn’t to make sure the Venezuelan people were better off now he’s taken their oil, not that his goal wasn’t to take their oil.
And what I implied was that his goals were entirely selfish.

3 daysWell, tbh this is actually one of the few things that actually fucking worked. Maybe his brain is actually inferior to AI.
Technology@lemmy.world•AI is now a health care issue: AI drove nearly $1 billion in extra health care costs over just 2 years – with no evidence patients got any different – or any better – carebyPhotonic@lemmy.worldEnglish
4 daysA lot of medical AI systems have potential but aren’t there yet. Like with LLM’s they are often oversold and underdeliver. But we will need them in the end if doctors are going to have to do a multitude of the work with the same amount of staff. But need to make sure we steer well clear of malignant AI companies looking to make a quick buck.
So this is a phase of trial and error. We have to do independent studies on software and look more at academically driven and open source options.

That’s a matter of location I guess. Here you sometimes have to pay a small extra fee to keep it there the whole day. But that may be also because there are plenty of public chargers around
