Right, its answer would be a distillation of what humans have written on the topic of how to save us.

New executive order: From now on we’re calling it “Stupid Intelligence!”

Ah, well then I don’t know what the guy was trying to accomplish. Again, without info from him and without defaulting to “he’s crazy”, my next guess would be stress testing.

On the bright side, at some point in time it will probably price everything at one cent.

I haven’t read anything from the guy who did this, but my logical assumption is that he was trying to overload or DoS-attack the server, or maybe make it use up a zillion tokens to incur costs for its owner - the idea that he was trying to “torture” an LLM is ridiculous unless the guy’s a loon.

In other news, Bonespurs orders State Department to call our allies The Super Friends.

In the actual shower, where the water is? Who does that?

I agree. A prerequisite for serving in Congress should be not still having a VCR with “12:00” flashing on the clock.

It’s somewhat archaic or pretentious now, but I still hear things like “an hotel” on Brit TV from say the 90s.

Now when you say “special”…

and your Mom!

It’s from the 1950s or 60s. Maybe it was British made, or could be whoever wrote the ad copy used the British convention of “an” before words starting with “h”.

Sounds like the guy had already defended himself solidly. I wonder if the union dude really made a difference or if the dragon was already dead.

I definitely see the possibility for abuse, but making a zero-tolerance assumption that these glasses are worn only by pervs seems as mindless as assuming a black guy walking down your street is obviously casing houses to rob, because why else would he be there? Or that a man eating his lunch on a park bench is definitely, unquestionably a pedophile looking for child victims, because what other reason would he have?

Since at least the early 90s we’ve seen a continuum of unlimited variations on themes, and we’re still here. But somehow, having to adjust to one more new change is going to “shatter” everything. This is like seeing “Game Over!” in a youtube title.
That’s just politicians caving to their financial sponsors. The American entertainment industry tried and failed to make the same case against VCRs in the 1970s, and audio cassette recorders in the 1960s. Downloading by itself isn’t “piracy”.
