I’m 1,000,000% cool with both open and closed beta’s, but when a “closed” beta breaks records of online players like that, is it actually closed? The game has been throughly documented before its release… Feels like reading a booked based on a movie after watching the movie.
Hmm… I’ve always used

Yeah, I feel the same way. Definitely puts an odd taste in the mouth the way they are doing it. Thankfully there are more games out there, due to life I probably have nearly 1,000 unplayed games in my Steam library.
Yeah, I’m just hearing about it and it looks pretty cool, but the weird way they are doing this feels too odd for me. It makes me want to play it but know I never will.
As someone that works in IT connected to a K-12 environment, the kids can figure out so much stuff to circumvent (probably pointless) rules it isn’t even funny. We had a kid using multiple TB of Google storage for text tiles… Just multiple copies of huge text files full of prime numbers…
I’d be cautious of keeping photos of your daughter on your phone with this administration.
Yeah, I loved winamp back in the day, but it’s been a quarter of a century and now it’s primary purpose (the ability to play mp3’s) is no longer it’s primary purpose. If I’m looking for another music player, it’s primary purpose needs to be playing music files, not trying to convince me to sign up for another shitty service.
The issue I’m seeing with the whole case is they siezed his phone, they kept his phone, the seizure of his property happened successfully. A person later entered something they believed would open it but instead it wiped it. The end user didn’t wipe it, and didn’t lie to the agents of the state because a duress PIN is still a PIN, I’m willing to wager they didn’t specify that they wanted his ‘unlock PIN’ and instead just asked him for a PIN (personal identification number), which he gave.
Pretty glorious tool if I’m being honest, so many useful things for an IT person to play with.
