I prefer to keep registrations open on MULTIVERSE, because most people are lovely and I think they should be able to make an account and start posting right away. But that’s got to change now, because of a bad apple that’s threatening to spoil the bunch.

Owbid_Catob is a spammer. Their preferred content to spam is AI-generated child cannibalism content. I do not know why. But I do know the pattern of their account creation is to keep spinning up alts that post nothing but disturbing material, under a single name, until they very quickly get banned. And they have been taking advantage of MULTIVERSE’s open registration for some time now. They tend to make their accounts at 22:00 UTC on Mondays.

So, now you need to fill out an application to make an account here. I and the rest of the staff team will get an email with your application. The questions are the same as on the Outside soulist discord server: What’s your opinion on unreality, magic, and queer identity? Give anarcho-antirealist answers, and you get in.

Unfortunately, this will be slower than open registration and there will be periods where no admin can check your application. We apologise for the inconvenience. Until your application is accepted, you can still view posts and comments.

Disclaimer: Our server is running on Debian Linux, which recently voted to allow undisclosed AI contributions to the operating system. The Linux kernel also allows AI code. We have no ties with Debian or Linux, and see no feasible way to avoid running an OS with AI code. Nonetheless, the PieFed software that powers MULTIVERSE does not allow any AI code.

When I was a kid in the 60s my hippie uncle told me that what gave him power was stuffing a quail egg in his foreskin and then his elderly neighbour would put her false teeth in her ass and he’d boink her and the egg would come out of his foreskin and she’d chomp it in her ass with the false teeth. I had no idea what he was talking about because I was only 7 when he told me this but now that I’m elderly I love sticking my false teeth in my ass to chew quail eggs from nice men.

This mod clicked ban, saw the box to put in a reason, and put nuttin’ in it.

Jokes aside, the last thing I did in that community was say “mods, remove this slop please”, in the comments under an AI generated meme, posted by a mod. I thought that was funny, but it might have been why the mod decided to ban Me. But the mod didn’t see any reason to put that in the modlog, which is where reasons to ban people go.
