IoT is supported until 2032

I haven’t looked at Tiny10/11 in a long while actually. I remember it not really working that well, although maybe it still was in beta back then.

I recently had to configure an older Thinkpad X1 Carbon G8 for my little brother. It’s only got 8GB of RAM unfortunately and he needs Windows.
So I installed Windows 11 IoT LTSC like I usually do, installed all necessary drivers and manually deactivated services that don’t need to run. It still uses 3GB of RAM while idling.
My 2-year-old daily driver Manjaro install uses half of that, and that’s on a system with 32GB RAM where Windows would almost certainly use more just because there’s more
I wonder if Riot would provide any info on the ban status of a certain component when given its ID…
Wow, that sucks. I don’t even know if you could get your money back for the CPU in that case, as the seller could just claim it wasn’t him. Doesn’t sound like Riot is being that cooperative in such cases either.

They do? That’s a shame

I’ve recently been to Five Guys for the first time and holy fuck, it was so much better than anything I’ve ever eaten at McDanooj. I’d say it’s about as good as fast food can get even.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s still slop, but it’s damn good slop.

I think they’re just trying to make LLMs sound more powerful and cool than they are. Sort of a last desperate attempt to sell it to you.

It is so bizarre to me that the idea of AI being something that will end the human race is now an integral part of these guy’s marketing strategies.
As a human myself, I wouldn’t wanna invest in something that’s meant to destroy humans but to each their own.

And you’re running CAD software on your phone?

What stuff are you doing on your phone that wasn’t fast enough already?

I’m sure many will disagree but I don’t see a point to this; it’s neat I guess but why?
Edir: Well, I’m listening…

And they could even pay that off in 200 easy instalments!

A lot of people in Japan supposedly, at least that’s what someone told me once. Apparently JDM smartphones had waterproofing way before others because of that.

Oh right. Forgot about those

That probably wouldn’t go anywhere; you’re not very likely to mistake one for the other.

I hope this fails like the AI Pin before it.
Something about this cute monster-thing representing technology that actively destroys the planet by a multi-billion dollar company that openly supports the exploitation of children on their platform feels off…

This is the most anticipated video game ever, I don’t think they really have to spend that much on marketing any more…

And yet I hear about startups getting permission to shoot shit up there on a weekly basis…
Questionable savings? I have saved A LOT of time at self checkouts, especially when just buying a few things. It’s way faster than standing in line behind people seemingly doing their yearly shopping.
