Yeah, but you miss the joke. Its torture as much as it is “intelligence.” By admitting you feel any sort of way about it you admit you dont know what is going on. If processing code were torture then atrocity is committed on some crazy scale that is really unquantifable.

Now you can argue its not right to joke about peoples feelings on torture but really we just need to be more careful with our language and quit assigning personhood to every star in the sky.

If its crazy to practice kindness in everything you do then I chose crazy. We say thanks to the rock that holds our weight. We are gentle with the door because it keeps us safe in our homes. We turn off the light so it too can get some rest.

Kindness is a lifestyle and those who reward it freely know its possible to receive it freely.
