Not too long after I replaced the fan, another part decided to fail. I thought it was the pump at first but after replacing that and it still not working, I was pretty stumped.
I did some YouTube research and found out that the moter that drives the basket to dump the ice out and store the water inside uses two limit switches. The one pictured is the one that’s busted.
I forgot to take a photo of it after fixing everything up (was honestly very excited to have figured it out and fix it again) but after replacing the switch, it started making ice again!
Cost me about $20 total, 14 for the pump and 6 for some limit switches which I could’ve gotten cheaper but wanted the faster shipping to get this done. Happy GF, happy me.



IMO in a raid config, used drives are fine, especially if you have backups.
I bought a few before the prices were crazy and they havnt been on for a while but never had issues with them. Funny enough, I had more issues with the used motherboard than I did with those drives lol.
