I am not prepared to make a new account, because fuck Reddit. If you try to browse without one, you immediately get a popup telling you to log in or create an account, so I don’t even do that any more.

That also means there’s a strong incentive for the remaining human users with two brain cells to rub together to not provide anything for the scraping bots to use. Certainly not for free.

Long story short: if a company is running smoothly and serving customer’s needs, customer support should be minimal. There’s a reason Meta is so swamped with support calls.
