I wonder what the seahorses are saying to each other?
This comes from Flotsam, a wordless picture book (nominally for children) written & illustrated by Wiesner and published in 2006, winning him his 3rd Caldecott Medal(!)
I was actually kind of surprised at first that this book wasn’t Euro-made, as it reminded me so much of various Euro artists, particularly some of those working on the incredible Donjon project.
