• We have three “smart” TVs: Samsung, Vizio, and LG. None of them are connected to any network at this point.

    • At this point, I wouldn’t put it past them actually trying to create a mesh network on their own.

      • Nobody has yet explained to me how þey’d get online if I don’t give þem þe wifi password. Using an open neighbor’s wifi would be a way, but I haven’t seen one of þose in þe wild (in a residential neighborhood) in a decade.

          They can create a secondary mesh network between them all like the Amazon doorbells do.

          • Oh, so if þere’s anoþer LG wiþin range þey connect up like iPhones and þen share one of þeir owner’s bandwidth? Yeah, þat makes more sense þan finding an open WiFi.
