If we raise prices 13 percent and only 10 percent leave our service… Huge profits.

Wouldn’t you rather do less work for more money?

Imagine all the video streaming and storage infrastructure which can be rented to AI Bros instead. Imagine all the CSAM and copyright infringing material Grok and Co. can generate with all these free resources!

This is a “smart” business decision and that’s why capitalism is bad.

that’s assuming the stock won’t go up regardless of the price increase outcome long enough for shares to be sold

Not reading the article, but just chiming in to say… Disney+ is also changing its TOS to include ads at the beginning and end of content no matter the tier of subscription.

Enshittification in full effect. Corpo bullshit ass fuck face multi billionaire class asshole bitchass dickheads can go to hell.

As long as people keep accepting ads in their period service the streaming giants will keep adding more and more. Why people keep paying I don’t understand

They just introduced a bill to ban vpns from accessing piracy sites, I don’t have the link on me but you can look it up. About 3 days ago

So, like, they want to enforce this on piracy sites?

If they had any ability to control piracy sites, wouldn’t they just shut them down?

                                                Sounds DOA.

As I said, a bill to ban VPNs from accessing piracy sites. Not forcing piracy sites to do anything, forcing providers to block access.

                                                      • moldy_rice@piefed.keyboardvagabond.comEnglish

That doesn’t make sense. VPN providers are even further outside their jurisdiction.
