Which is not a problem for tens to hundres of terabytes of library documents, which are all static. And there’s https://docs.ipfs.tech/concepts/ipns/ and https://docs.ipfs.tech/concepts/dnslink/ but latter suffers the same problems as DNS.

IPFS is tricky, but can be made to work, at least at Libgen scale. Content discoverability is always a problem, so depends on the number of pins on the network.

Unfamiliar with that one. Pointer, please.

How is the IPFS situation?

And that’s why I no longer go there.

One person. And just in Amerikkka.

They can have the duress pin.

I think we can collectively ignore irrational folks, whether lovers or haters.

Excellent. Now we need completely jailbroken open weights models posted. I’m tired of using models with blinders.
I would have liked to have seen OpenBoot with Forth resurrected, rather than coreboot/libreboot. It would have been nice to have hardware-independant drivers bundled with hardware and available at boot stage. I still have a SunFire V210 (I think) sitting in my rack. Not sure it still boots.
This is a piece of propaganda. What they want is mandatory online ID, to quell dissent.
300 EUR for refurbished devices with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD is very reasonable.
Check out refurbished Lenovo Thinkpad TinyPCs. Small, quiet and durable.
You can also buy refurbished Lenovo Thinkstation TinyPCs. These are low-power, small and quiet.

Postfix, but even with full spf dkim etc. monty not guaranteed to be always delivered to Gmail and Outlook. Because these don’t give a shit about standards.
Self-hosted LLMs are neat and private, if you (already) have the hardware/budget and some cheap (solar PV) surplus juice to drive it.

Depends on when the AI bubble pops.
If you need to move the document bulk, you can either rsync the docs and repin them, or use IPFS native means of replication to remote – haven’t used those.
LibGen on IPFS used to work, try e.g. https://bafybeifaxsen4np54stc43phpnn3rh2crxie34d74yki43dultrh4vglqy/ – but I have no idea about how much of the library corpus is pinned currently.
