  • I mean yeah, gameplay/gunplay is no contest, but I do mean overall. Story, tone, setting, roleplaying toolkit, etc. I know people love to shit on FO4 for it’s “limited dialogue options” but having played both I frankly don’t feel like FO4 lost anything by reducing fluff and limiting response options, although I do concede that it is frustrating the way FO4’s choices are sometimes misleading or unclear.

  • As a big Fallout NV and Fallout 4 fan and somebody who is literally from the DC metro area, I fully expected to love Fallout 3. But I gotta be honest, I hated it. Maybe it’s because I was kind of working backwards, but I thought the game was so janky, but awkward, terribly paced, and like… sad in a not fun way. I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but please give me Preston’s annoying settlement missions any day of the week over the depression of Fallout 3. 🤷‍♂️
