Maybe a bit of a try-hard “fix”, but I replaced the guts of mine with the RetroCultMods Solderless Revival Kit.
Installation wasn’t hard and the end result is awesome + compatibility with basically every console or PC.
Defo recommend if you love Guitar Hero like me.

You could do a minimal Arch install then it on top of that.
