I love Garuda. I tried Bazzite and CachyOS, but I just keep ending up back on Garuda. I feel like it is the only one that really lets me just use my computer and not think about the OS when I don’t want to.

Nothing against OpenSUSE tumbleweed, as I’ve heard great things, but I thought it was also rolling release, very similar to Arch…?
IMO, Manjaro mostly just convinces people “Linux isn’t ready” and sends them back to windows except for a select few gluttons for punishment.
In no particular order: Baldur’s Gate 3, Half-Life, Minecraft, Warframe, Eve Online

I’m pretty sure that is just describing Capitalism. Trade, Commerce, Profits, and Money all existed before Capitalism. The boundless greed and “line must go up” mentality is what Capitalism brings to the table.

13 daysWho’s got that copy-pasta about drinking verification cans to play their games? I think that fits here.
You aren’t “building community” either, you are dictating how other people are supposed to think while doing your level best to beat your moral high-horse to death. Stop putting people in boxes for them and get fucked with this cyber-hippy bullshit.
I am most definitely not on the same team as people that use chatbots so often they start to mimic their slop-style writing techniques. Worry about yourself, you don’t get to decide what team I am on, tyvm.
Also, I am not “just being an ass”, I am paraphrasing MIT scientific research.
Open Source@lemmy.ml•GrapheneOS Isn't Happy With Google Over Pixel's Widening Head StartbyCrozekiel@lemmy.zipEnglish
14 daysThis has always been a thought in the back of my head regarding GrapheneOS and why I never bought into the fan hype around it. Google has always been 100% in control of the door letting these AOSP projects function and they have been slowly closing the door for ages now. It will be fully closed at some point.
Yes, it has been scientifically proven that you are getting dumber by using an LLM regularly to do your thinking for you. Congratulations.

This is a tricky question, mostly because you tagged it as “Noob”… It is technically possible, but it does require jumping through some hoops I would not normally recommend to a novice. Attempting through a VM is probably the safest option, but pointing a VM to an entire physical disk isn’t typically something I would recommend, but is likely much safer than doing live partition editing manually and on the fly.
