• You can’t really point to your own unsubstantiated comment as proof of anything.

            • Do we have any proof that they aligned themselves with these projects because they are fascist? I’m not calling you a liar. If what you say is true is true than I’d sure like to know. I used to love Peppermint OS back when I first got started with Linux. I’d be very upset to hear they are intentionally seeking out fascist projects to align themselves with.

                • The slippery slope fallacy runs strong here, but I cannot say I’ve seen this correlative function in other projects such as Hyde with hyprland

So what exactly is peppermintos? As far as main page it looks like they took debian without systemd and decided that it’s too mainstream still and they should focus on being x-server only distro.

Do you mind elaborating? How is Devuan a ‘fascist-run’ distribution ?

A short research was enough to find out way too much about that guy. He even has his own non-woke fork (a phrase I find pretty hilarious) of Devuan, but Devuan’s team ‘embracing’ him or his ideas is nowhere to be seen, so…sauce ?

You said it: That’s enough for you to reject the project, which is an understandable and respectable point of view. However: you talked about endorsement by the Devuan team, which is a bit of a stretch tbh, let alone stating that the project is run by fascists, which, again, IMHO doesn’t stand up to scrutiny.
