I love how this phrase out context makes absolutely no sense, and might as well be alien to 99% of the population of the world:
Resolution and frame rate are no longer tied to the PS4 hardware, while the game supports NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, AMD FSR 3.1/4.1, and Intel XeSS, alongside native-resolution DLAA and FSR Native AA. NVIDIA RTX 40 Series GPUs can also use DLSS Frame Generation, while AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation is supported on Radeon RX 5000 Series and newer GPUs.
Hell, it might as well be Chinese for over half of gamers.
EDIT: try to say it out loud, it is just gibberish and random letters. Doesn’t even sound like english.

My grandma isn’t a gamer. I’m under the presumption that you, as someone who viewed the games community on Lemmy, and read an article about a PC port of a video game, would have a baseline understanding of the technology that video games use

3 daysWell of course I can understand it. That’s not what the OP was talking about.

Looks like it’s unfortunately undisclosed AI slop.

4 daysOK, so what kind of ROM do I need for this? Never looked into ps4 emulation before

From the repo (emphasis mine):
Native PC port of P.T. (runs from your own PS4 game files)
So I assume you’d need the original game files, how to acquire those is left as an exercise for the reader
MaggiWuerze@feddit.orgEnglish
4 daysYeah, but I need “original game files” and since I neither own a ps4 nor the PT I will have to use a Rom i suppose
SkunkWorkz@lemmy.worldEnglish
3 daysMaybe this one works, the repo says it works with fake PKG https://archive.org/details/pt_20200926
