a complete non issue and Trump is trying to look like he’s competent, not like last time.
Given the timing, I suspect this event never actually happened.

The issue isn’t that its the bubonic plague, the issue is that Russia isn’t telling anyone if that particular straun is genetically modified which would make the cure we have ineffective

Apparently this is the same plague as the bubonic plague and doesn’t spread super easily. The pneumonic, having affected the lungs, spreads like any virus but you need to be in the same area for quite a while. It’s something to keep an eye on but I don’t think it’s reason to panic

yersinia pestis is not a virus.
We are already back to early 2020s misinformation from people doing their own research.

I didn’t mean to say that it is a virus itself, I just meant essentially “like any airborne disease” I was lazy with my word choice
