US households pay 62% more for water than they did a decade ago, study finds

Pennsylvania here. Moved to my current location in 2018, paid $78/mo (under 10k gallons) until American Water bought our treatment plant. Minimum I’ve paid since is $135/mo and it’s dependent upon overall usage. Sucks but they basically have a monopoly here.
